When Industrial Rivet & Fastener Co. was founded in 1912, supporting American manufacturing wasn’t a marketing strategy — it was simply the business. More than a century later that commitment remains at the core of everything the company does.
Over the decades, Industrial Rivet’s manufacturing capabilities have grown and evolved alongside the needs of its customers. A significant milestone in that journey was the acquisition of Celus®, which strengthened the company’s position as a U.S. manufacturer of blind fastening products and brought valuable engineering expertise and expanded production capabilities into the Industrial Rivet family.
Made in Norwood, New Jersey
Today, Industrial Rivet & Fastener Co. operates its U.S. manufacturing facility in Norwood, New Jersey, where both Celus® and RivetKing® products are produced. The facility handles a full range of manufacturing operations — from producing blind rivets and permanent mechanical fasteners to value-added services including assembly, kitting, and loading into KingSet® strips for autofeed applications.
The result is a complete solution designed for efficiency and consistency in production environments — from the fastener itself to the tooling and support needed to install it correctly.

What American Manufacturing Means for Customers
For customers, partnering with a domestic manufacturer like Industrial Rivet means more than just a shorter supply chain. It means consistent quality backed by over 110 years of fastening expertise, strong technical support from engineers who understand the full production process, and the confidence of working with a company that has been investing in American manufacturing for generations.
At the same time, Industrial Rivet leverages global sourcing strategically to support a broad range of customer needs — combining the reliability of domestic production with the flexibility to meet diverse application and volume requirements.
“For our customers, that means consistent quality, strong technical support, and the confidence of working with a company that has been investing in American manufacturing for over a century — while also leveraging global sourcing to support a broad range of customer needs.”
