FreeSet® RK-797C-3 is optimized for process monitoring for Poke-Yoke implementation in production lines.  Using a load cell combined with a stroke sensor, it’s possible to measure the installation force to detect and avoid inconsistences in clamp load as a result of human-error, maintenance, or set-up.  A force controlled strategy ensures clamp load and effective tightening of the joint. This empowers management to standardize the training process, promote work improvement-oriented actions, unburden quality control staff and prevent/detect/eliminate defects before reaching customers.  The FreeSet® Manager software helps analyze, configure and control the application of rivet nuts as well as the tools configuration and preventive maintenance plan.

PASS/FAIL: The results of the riveting process inform the operator via the OLED screen, or to external systems via WIFI.  Installation data including force/stroke values are stored on the tool, or if optionally equipped via WiFi to external systems.
WIFI: All RK-787C-3 models can be optionally equipped with 2.4/5.0 gHz WIFI in order to communicate with external controllers or PLC that are part of a Poke-Yoke implementation.  The messages exchange between tool and controller can inform fixtures to open/close, mark an item for QC review, or halt a production line.
BARCODE READER:  All RK-787-3 models can be optionally equipped with a barcode reader for; quick set up, a change in the application parameters, and serial number matching.
